Do not average a river-city package with a Charters Towers split invoice. Do not treat a Gold Coast schedule as “Brisbane plus beach”. Do not use a domestic table for an overseas child. Do not keep a 2019 screenshot because it had a tidy range.
Ask for tuition by year, boarding by year, weekday versus full if both exist, levies, and refund rules. Then add the flights you will actually buy. That sum is the household number. This site will not print it for you.

Write down the entry year. Write down weekday or full board. Write down domestic or overseas. Send that trio to a river-city college, a Gold Coast or Ipswich campus if SEQ is in play, and a regional house if the family is rural. Ask each office for the same three documents: tuition table, boarding table, levy list. Add the flights you will book. That exercise is the Brisbane fee landscape. It is not a ranking and not a national Queensland price.

Name the entry year, the boarding mode, and domestic versus overseas. Send that trio to a Brisbane river college if the city is in play, to an Ipswich or Gold Coast campus if SEQ is in play, and to a Toowoomba, Townsville, Rockhampton or Charters Towers house if the family is rural. Ask each office for tuition, boarding and levies as separate documents.
Distance is the honest Queensland filter. Aircraft to Brisbane every exeat is a cost whether or not it appears on the school PDF. A house that meets the aircraft is a different product from a house that assumes a local grandparent. Write the transfer plan down before you treat two quotes as comparable.

Transfers belong on the Queensland spreadsheet
Who meets the aircraft, what happens if a connection fails, and whether weekly board is even offered will change a year cost more than a tidy river-city headline. Write those answers next to the tuition and boarding tables. A rural full-board house and a city weekday house should never share a row labelled “QLD boarding”.
Toowoomba weather, north-Queensland humidity and a Brisbane river Saturday are different packing lists and different invoices. Start with the handbook and the PDF. Leave the “Queensland is cheaper” sentence on the forum where you found it.
